Our Bespoke Process
Aspirations is RSP’s bespoke process designed to help senior lawyers (minimum 5 years PQE) progress and develop their careers.
Lawyers are trained to be experts in their chosen disciplines, but the sector is moving in a variety of ways, and expectations regarding skill sets are changing. Business development is a key consideration, leadership skills are more sought after than ever before, and succession planning is high on the progressive firm’s agenda. New alternative operating models are developing and changing the landscape requiring a greater entrepreneurial ability.
Lawyers need to recognise these changing requirements. Lawyers need to accept them and adapt. Failure to do so will mean that they become irrelevant and ignored.

The What, The How And The Why
RSP understands you have a job to do and clients to satisfy, so we will not put you under undue pressure.
- We will go at your pace; however, our experience is having engaged with you properly and having fired up your eagerness and motivation, it will be you that will put us under pressure to speed you through your journey.
- In essence the programme is about your capabilities, soft skills, your behaviours, your competencies, your personal strengths. It is very much about The What, The How and The Why. It includes your experience, your knowledge and measurable results and other items of relevance.
- Then taking all that information together we create a bundle of documents that highlights your capabilities, your strengths and personal attributes, your positive profile behaviours, and your personality alongside the proof of delivery.
- No completed report is identical, there are some structural similarities, but the end result is totally bespoke and unique to you. It is a compilation of all your traits and accomplishments. It is your personal sales brochure. The content can be used as the foundation for any further career development moves so a tool that has longevity.
